It's time to try
something different.

Sometimes the challenges we face can’t be solved on our
own – I’m here to help you navigate your gender identity,
gender expression, and sexual orientation.

There's a place for you here.

Individual
Counselling

During individual therapy, I will work with you to identify your goals, desires, and expectations for therapy. If you don’t know what these are yet that’s ok! We can figure that out together. People choose to access therapy for a variety of reasons; some want to focus on a specific aspect of their lives while others simply want a safe space to talk freely without worry of judgment.

I do my best to create a therapeutic space, be it virtual or in person, that is welcoming and as comfortable as possible. I support people through life transitions, stress, coming-out, anxiety, depression, transitioning, exploring gender identity, and/or sexual orientation.

02

Couples
Therapy

Couples therapy is not limited to just people in romantic relationships. I’m open to working with dyads from various relationship structures including friends, family, parent/child relationships, kink, and poly relationships. Collectively we will work to foster an environment centered on safety, open communication, boundaries, and respect.

This is a space to discuss and explore challenging decisions, relationship patterns, separations, intimacy struggles, life transitions, shifting dynamics, strengthen bonds and rebuild trust.

03

Family

I support families navigating shifting family dynamics, feelings of fear, uncertainty, concerns, and many other feelings associated with a family member(s) shifting identity, such as coming out as LGBTQ.

This could be parents struggling and wanting to understand and support their child who has just come out to them as LGBTQ. It can also be a child and partner struggling with the shifting identity of a parent/partner. I work with all types of family units including non-traditional family groups.

04

Transition
related surgical
assessments

I provide secondary assessments for trans and non-binary folxs seeking OHIP funded lower surgery.
These sessions focus on planning and preparing you for surgery, recovery, aftercare, and completing OHIP required paperwork.
Lower surgery requires a secondary assessor in addition to an assessment from your primary care physician. These really aren’t assessments but are ultimately educating and planning sessions to make sure you feel ready and prepared for surgery.
This process usually takes 3-4 sessions

05

Workshops

I create workshops and trainings tailored for your organization’s needs. For more information, quotes, and topics not listed below you can contact me.

Topics span a variety subjects related to gender and the experiences of trans people including but not limited to:
- Trans 101
- Navigating Dysphoria and Body Image
- Supporting Transgender Children
- Creating Trans Inclusive Spaces
- Preparing for Trans Related Surgeries

06

Clinical
Consultations

I offer clinical consultations for mental health clinicians, non-profits, and institutions seeking additional support in working with 2SILGBTQ individuals, couples, and families.

Clinical consultation offers the opportunity to discuss boundaries, ethics, identify internal biases, and expand your scope of practice in a safe inclusive space. I specialize in working with individuals and groups to explore how you can create a more inclusive and welcoming practice for queer and trans folxs.

Together we can explore gender and how small changes to forms, language and physical space can have a huge impact for your clients.
